At the 2023 WST Rome Park World Championships, Gavin Bottger of the USA clinched the men’s title with a stunning third run. The judges awarded him a score of 94.03, securing his gold medal.
Luigi Cini took the last turn and won the silver medal with a score of 91.90, followed by Tate Carew, who was previously in the lead before Bottger surpassed his score.
In the women’s division, Japanese skateboarder Cocona Hiraki started strong with a score of 92.08 on her first run. She sealed her victory with her second run score of 94.54.
Hinano Kusaki earned a silver medal with her best score of 93.20. Mina Stess of the USA placed third.
