Since we sat down with her for a Mission Statement episode back in February, Alexis Sablone has been on fire. She was announced as a member of the U.S. Olympic Skateboarding Team in March. A few months later, Converse released her debut shoe. If all of that wasn’t enough to say she’s having a banner year, The New York Times just released a feature on Ms. Sablone that highlights her accolades for the world beyond skateboarding’s reach. All of this success has been amazing to watch, and we’re looking forward to seeing what’s next. Congrats, Alexis!
