Even if you are not a fan, you are likely familiar with Animal Collective through Alien Workshop’s Mind Field[2009]. Avey Tare cofounded the group in 1999, and is releasing a new solo album on March 22 called Cows on Hourglass Pond. “Taken Boy” from Tare’s forthcoming release was unveiled this afternoon, and follows “Saturdays (Again),” which dropped last month.
