Battle at the Berrics 13 Round 2 begins this weekend with Cody Cepeda vs. Louie Lopez and Levi Löffelberger vs. John Chyk.
The Battle at the Berrics is a skateboarding competition held at The Berrics, a private indoor skatepark located in Los Angeles.
The competition is based on the game of S.K.A.T.E., which is similar to the game of H.O.R.S.E. played in basketball.
In S.K.A.T.E., two skaters take turns performing tricks. If one skater fails to replicate the other skater’s trick, they receive a letter. The first skater to spell out S.K.A.T.E. loses. The competition follows a single-elimination bracket format until a winner is crowned.
