In more unfortunate bar closing news, Black has announced that it will shutter its Hollywood location permanently. The skater-owned watering hole had been a fixture of the L.A. scene since opening in 2014, and hosted countless events during its tenure on Santa Monica Boulevard. Fortunately, the Long Beach location will continue on, and there are plans on the horizon to reopen in Los Angeles.But for those of us that have fond memories of those epic Hollywood nights with Heath behind the bar and Ako and Atiba on the one and two’s, this is certainly the end of an era.
