Living in the epicenter of a global pandemic where nearly 1000 people have been dying on a daily basis is unnerving to say the least. But, as the old saying goes, “this too shall pass.” Convicts edit that’s been making the rounds online is a reminder of that. Dedicated to those that have lost their lives in the fight agains COVID-19, it juxtaposes one of Governor Cuomo’s inspirational speeches with the street scenes that we’ve all been missing since the quarantine took effect. It’s a reminder of why, through good and bad times, those of us that live here make New York our home.
