In February, Cory Kennedy was charged with vehicular homicide, vehicular assault, and reckless driving as a result of an accident that caused Preston “P-Stone” Maigetter’s death on Vashon Island, WA. Kennedy’s blood-alcohol level was .10, which is higher than the state’s legal limit. On Friday, Kennedy was sentenced and will begin a four-year prison term starting tomorrow according to Raven Tershy’s latest Instagram post. Our condolences go out to everyone involved.
UPDATE: 9.1.18: Seattle’s Kiro 7 released a news report that confirms Cory Kennedy’s four year jail sentence. He was facing eight to twelve, but his sentence was reduced because of an outpouring of support from friends and family. The earliest Cory is eligible for parole is April 2021.
