Watch Blind Skateboarder Dan Mancina’s Long-Awaited Video Part

Skateboarder Dan Mancina, is seen at the Wigle Recreation Center (AKA The Wig) in Detroit, Michigan on October 10, 2017. Mancina was just 13 when a routine eye check-up saw him diagnosed with a degenerative eye disease, Retinitis Pigmentosa, which has robbed him of 95% of his vision. Mancina's vision impairment hasn't stopped him, however he now uses his white cane to orientate himself with the area he is skating and determines the best way to approach each trick. // Jacob Lewkow / Red Bull Content Pool // AP-1VYK67NG52111 // Usage for editorial use only // Please go to www.redbullcontentpool.com for further information. //

Dan Mancina's "TCB" Part

When most people think of the word “blind” in skateboarding, the brand that Mark Gonzales founded in the early ‘90s comes to mind. Dan Mancina will likely change that. You may be familiar with his story via Red Bull’s 2018 documentary on him. Dan is pretty incredible. Not only does he skate without his sight, he’s able to film a full part with legitimate tricks in it to boot. Seeing is believing (pun intended). Check out Dan’s new effort above.
