It’s a bit of a perquisite to be a fan of Dinosaur Jr. if you’re a skateboarder. So the fact that the band is gearing up to head into the studio to record a new album is definitely the highlight of this week’s music news. The band’s forthcoming effort will be their first release in four years, and 12th overall. Now’s a good time to revisit the video for “Goin Down,” which we were fortunate enough to witness live at House of Vans Brooklyn back in 2016. Hopefully we’ll be catching another performance in 2020.
