Blue Note Records is an institution in jazz music. Its signature sound and graphic design aesthetic have influenced numerous skate companies including: Stereo, Western Edition, and Hopps; and Vans teamed up with the New York-based label in 2015 on a collaboration shoe and video. Blue Note turns 80 this year; and G-Shock is honoring the occasion with the release of a limited-edition G-STEEL watch.
