Video games have been a huge part of the growth of skateboarding since Activision released Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater in 1999. Skateboarding’s first video game blockbuster lived exclusively on Playstation and Sega Dreamcast systems. But by the time EA Skate usurped the Birdman’s franchise in 2007, Sega was no longer on the scene.
