After almost a year of battles, newcomer and influencer Jamie Griffin emerged as champion in the Battle of the Berrics 12, beating more seasoned skateboarders in the game of SKATE.
Jamie bested former BATB champion Chris Cole in the semis before facing off with Tyler Peterson who won the semis battle against Sewa Kroetkov, also a former BATB champion.
Chris Cole filled in for Paul Rodriguez (PRod) who was supposed to fight against Griffin in the semis. Unfortunately, PRod caught Covid before the fight so he had to back out. Cole was PRod’s opponent in round 4 of the BATB 12 icons bracket.
Kroetkov got third place after beating Cole in their face-off.
This is Griffin’s first time joining BATB. He was invited to play under the influencers bracket which was introduced for the first time in the history of the game.
During this BATB season, Griffin became a pro under the UK brand Hop King but continued playing in the influencers bracket.
