Julian Agliardi, a 13-year-old skateboarding prodigy, emerged as the winner of Simple Session 2023.
He had secured the highest score in the qualifying round held the previous day and entered the finals with a lot of confidence. Although he didn’t make it to the top three in his initial run, he made a remarkable comeback with his second attempt, earning him a phenomenal 83.08 points.
Held in Tallinn, Estonia from September 20-26, Simple Session is one of the longest-running action events in the world with a 22-year history.
Simple Session originated in the year 2000, when Risto and Mario Kalmre, along with Piret Kull, organized this event series.
Initially, it started as a small-town competition in Estonia, but over the years it has grown into one of the world’s biggest and most prestigious BMX and skateboarding contests.
