He had been hospitalized recently with brain cancer, which was initially diagnosed a few years ago.
Keith is survived by his wife and two children, and his name will live on forever in our culture via the HUF brand.
On a more personal level, I have been friends with Keith for nearly 20 years; interviewed him numerous times for various publications; and spent countless hours with him both personally and professionally.
He was one of the kindest and most generous people that I’ve met via skateboarding.
And I’ll miss his presence.
We lost a good one today. That’s all that can really be said about that.
