In what can be considered a sign of the times, Kinfolk announced via Instagram last night that it will be closing its doors permanently. From gracing the pages of The New York Times to hosting the Hopps x Cons release party, the Williamsburg hotspot had been a staple of the Brooklyn scene for the past 12 years. Losing the places and spaces that make up the fabric of a neighborhood is the lesser-talked-about side effect of the pandemic that will be felt for years after a vaccine is developed.
