Karl Watson and Nick Lockman’s Maxallure made waves earlier this year when it announced that it would be distributed through Baker Boys. The upstart company boasts a team of amateurs that were already on most peoples’ radars. With a plethora of Instagram edits to wet our collective whistles, skateboarding has been waiting to see a debut edit. That happened today with the release of “Private Domain” via Thrasher. Clocking in at just under four minutes, it features Jonathan Perez, Lil’ Dre, Tafari Whitter, Demarquis McDaniels, and Marcello Campanello doing their best Rubber Boys impression in this homage to Powell Peralta’s Public Domain (1988). It’s a dead ringer for the original.
