You may not know Cey Adams by name; but you are definitely familiar with his work. The Queens native is the founding creative director of Def Jam, and designed some of its most iconic album covers for Run DMC, Public Enemy, the Beastie Boys, Jay Z, and more. He’s now shifted his focus back to fine art, and is creating amazing collages based on American flags. Monster Children pays Adams a studio visit in this new short filmed and edited by Waylon Bone with photography by Jonathan Mehring.
