It looks like Paul Rodriguez’s acting aspirations are coming true. Deadline broke the news earlier today that P-Rod has landed a recurring role on Netflix’s Selena: The Series. The show will tell the coming-of-age story of Latina pop star Selena Quintanilla, who was murdered in 1995. P-Rod will be playing a member of her band.
Rodriguez, Jr. will play Roger Garcia, a shy guitarist for Los Dinos in their early years, who struggles to stay in the band as life on the road becomes more demanding.
