For skateboarding enthusiasts, there’s an upcoming event that you won’t want to miss! Uprising Tokyo is a new international skateboarding competition organized by Rakuten, a global online shopping and entertainment leader.
The event will occur on May 26-28, 2023, at the Ariake Arena, a state-of-the-art venue hosting the 2020 Olympic Games.
Uprising Tokyo aims to grow the sport of skateboarding and its culture throughout Japan and the world, spread the essence of what makes skateboarding great, and bring value to its community by breaking down barriers.
The event will also feature live music, art, food, and fun activities for everyone.
