UPDATE: Watch Ishod Wair & Kyle Walker in Real’s ‘BE FREE’
Real’s highly-anticipated BE FREE video is premiering on January 4 in Long Beach. Its focus is Ishod Wair and Kyle Walker. Based on this Ishod interview from last May, it sounds like this project has been in the works for at least a year. Given that both of these guys are former SOTYs, this video lends itself perfectly to a Skater of the Year repeat in 2020. This has only happened twice in history: Danny Way in 1991 and 2004, and Chris Cole in 2005 and 2009. We’ll see how next year unfolds in terms of video releases. It’s certainly going to start off with a bang.
UPDATE 01.09.20: BE FREE released online earlier today via Thrasher. While it’s too early to say if either Kyle or Ishod will repeat as SOTY, they’re certainly starting 2020 off with a bang. Check out their new parts above.
