We’re a little late on this, but Smif N Wessun’s debut album turned 25 on January 10. The group celebrated with a show at Gramercy Theater the night before; and we’d be lying if we said we didn’t have a slight amount of F.O.M.O. from missing the event. If you happen to be in the Boston area, tickets are available now for the February 6 show at Middle East. Don’t sleep. You can also pick up the anniversary merch now via the group’s website. It’s a little surprising and unfortunate that Wax Poetics didn’t deliver an anniversary mixtape for this. Hopefully one will pop up before the end of the month.
