As mentioned yesterday, it was a big week in music. This video for Smoke DZA and Benny the Butcher’s “By Any Means” is the icing on the cake. The track and bars are infectious. And we’re digging the ‘80s New York b-roll mixed with modern footage of the rappers in the city. Hopefully this recent resurgence of “real hip hop” is an indication that we’re moving away from the SoundCloud trash that’s been dominating the genre over the past several years. After all, it is a whole new decade now.
