The Johnny Strange Legacy Mini Ramp Jam is one of the highlights of the upcoming Malibu Chili Cook-Off happening this weekend at 23575 Civic Center Way Malibu, CA. The contest will be held on Sunday, September 4 at 3:00 pm.
Interested participants can register onsite. However, admission tickets for the Cook-off are required for entry. Tickets are sold online.
The format is a jam-style contest with two heats, advanced (pro skaters) and intermediate (amateur skaters).
All participants must sign a waiver. Minors should have a parent or guardian on-site to sign a waiver on their behalf. Intermediate skaters are required to wear full gear (helmet and pads).
The prize purse is $2500.
The contest is held in honor of Johnny Strange, a Malibu local who was known for being an adventure-seeker.
