
Skaters young and old had a great weekend last 23rd of April in the New Smyrna stop of the Grind for Life Series 2022.
Jake Yanko from Melbourne, Florida earned the top spot for both the Street and Bowl Men’s Advanced competition.
Harlow Johnsey landed first place in the Bowl Women’s category while Shiloh Catori won the Street Women’s competition.
Anthony Ferraro won the Street Men’s Adaptive Disabled Advanced beating Dan Mancina who came out second. Justin Bishop got first place in the Bowl Men’s Adaptive Disabled Advanced.
GFL Series is a national, all ages and skills skateboarding contest series organized by The Boardr.
Part of the proceeds from the series benefits the Grind for Life Organization, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that assists cancer patients with travel expenses.
The next stop for the Grind for Life Series will be in Charleston on the 1st of October. You can sign up for the next event here.
