In 2015, women only earned 8% of the total prize money. Now it’s almost equal to men’s earnings.

Japan cornered just a drop of the total earnings for 2015, but it has grown to a third in 2023, roughly equal to Brazil’s and the USA’s slice of the pie.

They also provided a summary of the changes in The Boardr Global Rankings for this month.

Rayssa Leal maintains her ranking in the women’s street category. Cocona Hiraki moved up to notches and is now ranked first for the women’s park.

Jagger Eaton and Yuto Horigome keep their spot in the men’s park and men’s street rankings, respectively.
