At some point between Supreme’s ascension into the upper echelons of corporate America, and the announcement of skateboarding’s inclusion in the 2020 Olympic games, the culture became a topic for mainstream consumption. Within the past couple of years, there have been more articles on skateboarding ran in The New York Times than the entire prior decade. The latest is a piece published on Friday on this year’s Dime event.
