Claudon & Bouet to Show Unconcrete Architects at 98 Orchard on Thursday

French artists Mathieu Claudon and Etienne Bouet are showing Unconcrete Architects at Monster Children’s98 Orchard space in New York this Thursday. The series “explores the intersection of modern architecture and skateboarding through paintings and photographs.” Claudon shoots skating, and Bouet highlights the architectural elements through painting the printed image. The series is influenced by the work of Finnish architect and designer Finn Juhl, and utilizes black pen and primary colors to build upon skate shots and portraits of iconic skaters.
