Colombian skateboarder Jhancarlos Gonzalez won the Men’s Vans Showdown held Sunday at the Huntington Beach, CA. Joining him at the podium for 2nd and 3rd place respectively are Braden Hoban and Grant Taylor.
Olympic athletes dominated the Vans Showdown Women’s category with Australian Hayley Wilson taking the top spot. Wenhui Zeng from China and Cocona Hiraki from Japan placed 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Vans Showdown is part of the Vans US Open of Surfing, a week-long event featuring surfing, BMX, and skateboarding.
