Right in time for the coldest months of winter, and filling the void left by the closing of H.O.V. Williamsburg, Vans recently opened a new skatepark in Bushwick. Located at 198 Randolph off the Jefferson L stop, Skate Space 198 is open to the public. Take a closer look at the park in the above video from Transworld. Dickies Fire Station Skate Plaza Opens with a Demo from Pros

Jamie Foy, Jake Hayes, Guy Mariano, Mike Anderson, Christian Henry, Dylan Jaeb, Vincent Alvarez, Adrian Adrid, and Franky Villani graced the grand opening of the Dickies Fire Station Skate Plaza with a demo.

The skatepark in Fort Worth, TX, took a decade in the making. The project started with a group of passionate Fort Worth skaters, with Magnolia Skateshop at the forefront, raising $80,000 to build a one-of-a-kind skate plaza and concrete pump track.

Near Southside, Inc. also pitched in and it was able to secure a $300,000 donation from VF Foundation, the nonprofit arm of VF Corporation which owns Dickies among other brands.

With additional support from the City of Fort Worth, the project was made possible. Now skaters of all levels can enjoy this awesome new spot in the city!
