The edit hits tons of classic spots in SoCal campuses, featuring plenty of back-to-back tricks, powerful lines, and technical rail and gap combos.
Aside from Plan B, Blind Skateboards, Santa Cruz Skateboards, and Real Skateboards have received an exclusive invitation to participate in an unprecedented skate video competition.
The teams were presented with a modified VX 1000 camera that disabled the rewind and tape eject functions. They have to make do with whatever they capture on a single tape.
They cannot rewind and film over any previously recorded footage on the tape- a formidable challenge for any filmmaker/editor and skater.
Each team was granted a two-week timeframe to film and fill their respective tapes which were then surrendered to Red Bull for ejection and exporting. The footage was provided to the respective teams to finalize their ultimate edits
A panel of judges chosen by Red Bull will evaluate the teams based on trick selection, the choice of skate spots, edit creativity, and camera work.
