It was an exhilarating four-day experience for contestants and spectators in Tallinn, Estonia during Simple Session 2023 last week.
Dane Burman claimed the MVP award on the initial day at Freedom Square by defeating every obstacle in his way.
The following day witnessed the downhill races at the DIY on Skoone Bastion hilltop, and only Julian Agliardi managed to roll away from the sketchy handrail successfully.
The next two days were spent indoors at the old Pohjala rubber factory, which featured a new custom skatepark and a mini ramp in the adjacent room. The qualifiers, mini ramp jam cash-for-tricks, finals, and Best Trick events all took place.
In the finals, thirteen-year-old Julian Agliardi emerged victorious by a narrow margin, beating out Danny Leon and Elias Nilsen with his last run.
During the Best Trick, Jaws performed insane airs and transfers over the quarterpipes, bar, and pillar, while Yurii Korotun took the honors beside it on the flat bar.
