This year’s Summer X Games will be held in various spots in Southern California this July 20-24.
Five-time X Games skateboard Gold Medalist Elliot Sloan “loans” his SloanYard training facility featuring a MegaPark ramp for this year’s Summer X Games for the debut of the BMX and Skateboard MegaPark disciplines. His facility will also host the skateboard vert and Vert Best Trick competitions.
Meanwhile, X Games Moto X medalist Axell Hodges agreed to let X Games use his “Slayground” in Encinitas again this year for the Moto X disciplines.
The BMX and Skateboard Street, BMX Park, Dave Mirra’s Park Best Trick, and Skateboard Park competitions will be held at the CA Training Facility in Vista. CATF features full-sized concrete Street and Park courses.
All X Games 2021 and X Games Chiba gold medalists are automatically invited to participate in the 2022 Summer X Games. Expect to see Yuto Horigome, Dawshawn Jordan, Leticia Bufoni, Rayssa Leal, and more for the skateboard disciplines.
