Check Out Ryan Sheckler’s Latest Pro Shoe with Etnies
Ryan Sheckler’s Pro Shoe with Etnies named Estrella dropped last week. Estrella is touted to be a versatile shoe that you can use to train, skate, and chill.
Ryan’s been a pro skateboarder for more than two decades, and part of the Etnies team for 25 years. His life’s work has focused on progression and through the years, he’s put a lot of time into footwear design with the Etnies team. “I have lived my life in Etnies shoes. Everything that I have done in my skate career has been in Etnies footwear,” said Sheckler.
Estrella means star, and Ryan put the same star-shaped mandala he has tattooed on his leg on the 400 NBS rubber outsole.

“I designed the Estrella to be versatile, I wanted to be able to work out in the shoe, skate in the shoe and hang out in the shoe. Pretty much everything I do on a daily basis; I can do in this shoe,” said Sheckler.

Get to Know Teen Skateboarding Phenom Rayssa Leal
After winning silver in the street skateboarding competition in Tokyo Olympics at just thirteen years old, Brazilian skateboarding phenomenon Rayssa Leal is out to get the gold in Paris 2024.
“…I have grown up. I’m stronger now both physically and mentally…I believe I’m much more ambitious now. I want the podium, I want first place. I know I can do it,” says Rayssa.
She’s also very happy that she’s inspiring young girls to go skateboarding, just like she was inspired by fellow Brazilian Leticia Bufoni when she was a young girl.
Now 15 years old, Rayssa is stacking achievements left and right. Last year, she got her first SLS Super Crown title after winning all the tour stops. She also won the STU Open. Just last month, she topped the Street World Championships in Sharjah, UAE.
Rayssa first came onto the radar when she was just seven years old through a viral video of her skating wearing a fairy outfit.
