Eric Koston Gets Mic’d Up at the SLS Brazil Stop
Eric Koston has been known to provide comic relief on more than one occasion. He took SLS’ latest “Mic’d Up” segment from last month’s SLS Super Crown World Championship in Brazil to show off his comedic chops. Check out what happened when “the oldest guy trying to qualify for the Olympics” was unleashed on the course above.

Momiji Nishiya Wins Dew Tour 2022 Women’s Street

Momiji Nishiya once again proved her street skateboarding skills after winning the Women’s Street competition at the Dew Tour Des Moines 2022.
Nishiya just recently won the gold medal in the Summer X Games Women’s Street. In 2021, she became the youngest gold medalist for Japan after winning the Women’s Street competition at the Tokyo Olympics.
Pamela Rosa landed in second place ending her winning streak in the Dew Tour Women’s Street.
Chloe Covell, the youngest among the contenders, finished third in the competition. She recently won the silver medal at the 2022 Summer X Games.
Men’s Skateboard Park Winner
Gavin Bottger, the youngest among the field, won the Men’s Skateboard Park with his first run.
He got 88 points for his frontside air through the deep end corner, followed by a frontside 5-0 grind, kickflip backside 360 over the box jump, backside 540 in the deep end, kickflip Indy over the hip, 5-0 grind, kickflip foot plant on the Mountain Dew can, frontside slob plant on the plexiglass Toyota vert extension, one-foot backside 360, Cab heelflip 360 Indy, and alley-oop body varial 360.
Luiz Francisco, who initially was the one to beat until Bottger edged him out placed second with a score of 86.33.
Keegan Palmer was able to catch up with his third run, scoring 85, which put him in the third spot.
For all the street and park competitions, the highest scoring runs of each competitor count toward the final result. Each competitor is given three 45-second runs.

Sky Brown Wins Dew Tour 2022 Women’s Park

Sky Brown is on a winning streak after placing first in the Women’s Park competition of the 2022 Dew Tour. She scored 89.66 in her third run which sealed her win.
Fresh off her win an X Games Women’s Park, Brown beat 2021 Dew Tour Women’s Park winner, Sakura Yosozumi who placed second this year with a best-run score of 83.
Cocona Hiraki came in third in the competition, scoring 82.66 in her best run.
The trio also swept the podium in the recently held Summer X Games 2022 with the same rankings. They were also the top three in the Summer Olympics with Yosozumi taking the gold, while Hiraki and Brown got the silver and bronze respectively.

Gustavo Ribeiro Wins Dew Tour 2022 Men’s Street Competition
Gustavo Ribeiro won this year’s Dew Tour Men’s Street competition. The professional skater from Portugal started strong with 89 points in his first run securing him the top spot in the event.
He scored lower in his succeeding runs but no other contenders were able to beat his first run score.
Olympic gold medalist Yuto Horigome came in at second place with a score of 87.33 in his first run. Kelvin Hoefler nailed his third run and got the highest score of the 3rd runs at 86 points, bumping him into the third place.
Each of the 12 invited athletes was given three runs of 45 seconds. Only the highest scoring runs of each competitor count toward the final result.
