Jim Greco Says He Is Currently Writing 2 Non-Skate Films

Jim Greco’s Jobs? Never!! cemented his style as a filmmaker. His next project may involve translating that into the world beyond skateboarding. Highsnobiety posted a new profile on Greco this morning in which he mentions upcoming projects that include one skate, and two non-skate movies. He’s currently writing this trio of films while healing from the hellacious slam that he takes at the start of his latest offering.

“I liked seeing skateboarding in the INXS video [for “Devil Inside”] as a kid and Thrashin’ has exciting moments, even though it was clearly a The Bones Brigade Video Show rip-off,” he says about skating in films. “Honestly, it depends on how it’s done. While I am healing, I have been working on writing three different films. Two of them have no skateboarding, the other is a skateboard movie.”
