We knew the KAWS show at Brooklyn Museum would be the hot ticket for this spring. It’s so hot, in fact, that we weren’t able to get a slot until nearly a month after the opening. But better late to the party than never, we like to say. And what a party it is! KAWS has created what feels less like an exhibit, and more like an entire world embodying his work spanning paintings, sculptures, and everything in between. The show runs through September. So if you’re in New York, this is a no brainer. And if you’re planning to visit this summer, don’t sleep. Speaking of not sleeping, KAWS’s Supreme deck that’s dropping with this season’s accessories carries a bit more weight considering the timing of the release. Get one if you can.
