Leticia Bufoni Launches Her New Youtube Channel
Guinness record holder Leticia Bufoni launched her YouTube channel this week. Her first video on her channel entitled “Welcome To My Life” shows a glimpse into what goes on in her life.
After just two days, she uploaded another video entitled “Skate Session with L7NNON” featuring Brazilian musician and skateboarder Lennon Frassetti, aka L7NNON.
Originally from Sao Paulo, Brazil, Bufoni came to the United States to compete and pursue her career in skateboarding. She is a six-time X Games gold medalist and 2015 Street League Skateboarding Supercrown Champion.

Elliot Sloan Wins X Games Chiba 2023 Vert Best Trick
Elliot Sloan claimed victory in the recently held X Games Chiba 2023 Vert Best Trick competition.
During the 20-minute controlled jam session, Sloan made multiple attempts without success. He seemed already resigned to losing, but everyone was given another run after the 20-minute mark.
He finally came through on his last try with his fast-spinning Cab heelflip Indy 720. The trick brought the house down and earned him the gold medal. Sloan now has a total of 16 X Games medals!
Tony Hawk’s X Games comeback is another highlight of the event. The legendary Birdman put down technical tricks, including Madonna switch crooked grind and Half Cab body varial to backside blunt.
Meanwhile, Moto Shibata successfully landed his kickflip McTwist early in the competition and earned him a silver medal.
The youngest participant, Gui Khury, executed a nollie indie 900 in his second attempt earning him a bronze medal.
Edouard Damestoy and Clay Kreiner also successfully landed a trick during the jam.
Skateboard Vert
Edouard Damestoy landed first place in Men’s Skateboard Vert with a score of 90. Tom Schaar and Jimmy Wilkins joined him at the podium for second and third place, respectively.

Ginwoo Onodera Wins Gold in his X Games Debut
Ginwoo Onodera bagged his first gold in his X Games debut this Sunday. At just 13 years old, he was the youngest participant in the 2023 X Games Chiba Men’s Street. He is also among the youngest to win an X Games gold in history.
The Japanese skateboarding phenom sealed his win in his first run, earning a score of 90.33.
Second placer Kelvin Hoefler tried his best to beat Onodera during his second run. But he failed to land his ender and improve his score. His best run score was 83.66.
Third placer Jamie Foy was initially in the 4th place with 81 points in the first runs. He slid into 6th place after Matt Berger’s and Braden Hoban’s 2nd run.
But Foy made a solid second run earning him a score of 83.33, beating Braden Hoban’s and Kairi Netsuke’s best runs of 83 and 82.66, respectively.

Keegan Palmer Tops X Games Japan Men’s Skateboard Park
Keegan Palmer earned a gold medal for X Games Japan Men’s Skateboarding Park.
The Australian skateboarder secured his spot in the first run, scoring 83.66. Corey Juneau came in second, while Gavin Bottger took the third spot.
Last Friday’s competition was supposed to be an elimination round for Saturday’s finals. However, the organizers had to cancel several events because of nonstop rain. They informed participants to treat the elimination as finals in case of cancellations.
