New YouTube Channel, ‘Storied’ Chase the Untold Stories Behind the 900
Legendary skater Tony Hawk tried to land the 900 for 10 years. He finally did it in an X Games event broadcast live on television in 1999.
Listen to the untold stories behind the famous trick that cemented Tony’s status as a skateboarder and changed the history of skateboarding in this documentary by Storied.
Aside from Tony himself, Rodney Mullen, Jamie Thomas, Geoff Rowley, Bob Burnquist, Bucky Lasek, Colin McKay, and more narrate how “The Perfect Storm” came together for Tony to land the 900.
Storied is a new channel dedicated to telling skateboarding’s greatest stories created by former The Berrics lead videographer Chase Gabor.

Tony Hawk and Rodney Mullen Team Up for ‘Darkslides & Secret Tapes’
Skateboarding legends will be on the stage together to discuss their lives and careers and how they inspired each other to innovate for “Darkslides & Secret Tapes” shows.
The shows are scheduled for April 4th at Beacon Theater, NYC, NY and April 7th at ACL Live at the Moody Theater, Austin, TX.
