There are many watch companies that have been affiliated with skateboarding over the years. Swatch may be the most iconic. During the ‘80s, it was a staple of the culture and sponsored many contests and events. If you picked up a magazine back then, you were likely to see a swatch ad in nearly every issue.
The brand stepped away from the culture during the dark years in the early ‘90s, and we haven’t really heard back from it until now. Swatch announced today that Nora Vasconcellos is the newest member of the pro team. Check out the introduction video above, and head to Swatch’s site to read the full announcement.
