Poler Stuff Files Chapter 7 Bankruptcy After Huge Revenue Loss in 2018

Shop Eat Surf is reporting that Poler Stuff (not to be confused with Pontus Alv’s Polar) recently filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy. According to the article, the Portland-based camping brand took a heavy hit to its bottom line in 2018 with revenue dropping from $7.2 million in 2017 to $3.6 million last year. This resulted in Poler vacating its corporate office, and closing its retail stores in Portland and Laguna Beach. Prior to this, the brand had been a staple in skateboarding for the past several years via collaborations with Girl Skateboards and Nike SB. Revisit Poler and SB’s “The Long Wave Goodbye” and “Camp Vibes in Cascadia” below for a reminder of some of the cool things that it did.
