Finally! Here are the contenders for Thrasher’s 2022 Skater of the Year.
The Skater of the Year Award, also known as SOTY is one of the most prestigious awards a skater could receive.
Thrasher Magazine started giving out SOTY in 1990. Tony Hawk was the first ever to receive the title. Only two skaters won SOTY twice – Danny Way (1991 and 2004) and Chris Cole (2005 and 2009). Mark Suciu was last year’s SOTY.
