Get to Know Vitória Mendonça
Madars Apse links up with fellow Element pro-skater Vitória Mendonça in this episode of Red Bull’s “Skate Tales.”
Vitória’s skating ability has made her one of the most visible girls in the worldwide sponsorship game today, despite her humble background in Rio de Janeiro. She has also successfully pursued a parallel career as a model.
Her life story is a testament to the fact that young black women can face all kinds of prejudice, but with hard work and determination, they can achieve their dreams.
