The new Re-Life sets are made from 70% post-consumer material.
If you want to donate your old wheels, go to this page for the list of drop-off centers. Satori accepts any brand of wheels as long as it meets the following requirements:
- Must be at least 45 mm in diameter or bigger.
- The bearing seats are still good.
- Only hard wheels can be recycled (92A or harder).
What happens to the shaved-off parts of the old wheels? They are collected and sent to another organization, Shred Cycle, which repurposes these shreds into new materials like the ones below.
