It was an exhilarating four-day experience for contestants and spectators in Tallinn, Estonia during Simple Session 2023 last week.

Dane Burman claimed the MVP award on the initial day at Freedom Square by defeating every obstacle in his way.

The following day witnessed the downhill races at the DIY on Skoone Bastion hilltop, and only Julian Agliardi managed to roll away from the sketchy handrail successfully.

The next two days were spent indoors at the old Pohjala rubber factory, which featured a new custom skatepark and a mini ramp in the adjacent room. The qualifiers, mini ramp jam cash-for-tricks, finals, and Best Trick events all took place.

In the finals, thirteen-year-old Julian Agliardi emerged victorious by a narrow margin, beating out Danny Leon and Elias Nilsen with his last run.

During the Best Trick, Jaws performed insane airs and transfers over the quarterpipes, bar, and pillar, while Yurii Korotun took the honors beside it on the flat bar.

Simple Session will be coming to Tartu in 2024!

From 16 skaters in Round 2, it’s now down to eight skaters who will advance to the third round of Battle at the Berrics 13.

Chris Cole, Cody Cepeda, Nick Holt, Levi Löffelberger, Luan Oliveira, Jamie Griffin, Tyler Peterson, and Chris Joslin made it to the cut.

Round 3 of BATB 13 will start on October 13. The Finals Night will be on November 11.

In a thrilling display of athleticism and skill, 13-year-old Cui Chenxi from China won the Asian Games Women’s Street Skateboarding Final title.

Zeng Wenhui, also from China, secured the silver medal, while the bronze went to Ito Miyu from Japan.

The event took place on September 27, 2023, at the Qiantang Roller Sports Centre in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, China.

The competition featured some of the world’s best young skateboarders, who showcased their talents with impressive maneuvers and daring tricks.
