The World Skateboarding Tour Returns to Rome
Get ready for another exhilarating international street skateboarding event as the world-famous Italian capital, Rome gears up to host the much-anticipated World Skateboarding Tour (WST) – Street Skateboarding Rome 2023.
The event, taking place at the stunning Colle Oppio Park with a picturesque view of the iconic Colosseum, will be held from June 18 to June 25.
WST – Street Skateboarding Rome 2023 serves as the third street qualification event for the highly anticipated Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Skateboarding enthusiasts from around the globe will gather in Rome, showcasing their incredible skills and vying for the chance to secure a spot in the ultimate sporting extravaganza.
The competition promises to be a captivating spectacle as top skateboarders from various countries demonstrate their prowess in one of the most iconic skateboarding destinations in the world.
With its rich historical backdrop and vibrant skateboarding scene, Rome provides the perfect setting for the WST event.

Sky Brown, Luigi Cini Claim Victory at WST-San Juan
Sky Brown and Luigi Cini emerged victorious at the San Juan leg of the World Skateboarding Tour-Park. Their win earned them qualification points for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Sky consistently performed in the finals, earning a score of 90.84 in her final run. She also previously won the Park World Championships, another one of the qualifying events for the Olympics.
Despite the initial setback, Australian Ruby Trew was able to recover in her final run, scoring 86.16–enough to land her in second place.
Raicca Oliveira claimed the third spot after improving her second and final runs score.
In the men’s division, Tom Schaar and Keegan Palmer joined Luigi Cini on the podium for second and third place, respectively.

Yuto Horigome Reigns Supreme at Rakuten Event
Skateboarding sensation Yuto Horigome takes top honors at Uprising Tokyo, held this Sunday at the Ariake Arena. Carlos Ribeiro and Toa Sasaki claimed second and third place, respectively.
Aoi Uemura, Coco Yoshizawa, and Nanami Oonishi shared the podium for the women’s division.
Organized by Rakuten, Uprising Tokyo strives to expand the popularity of skateboarding and its cultural influence in Japan and globally.
