Muska fans rejoice. You will be able to get a new signature board for your collection soon. A few months ago, Chris Pastras and Jason Lee introduced their new tribute / art brand called Folklore . So far, it has dropped limited boards paying homage to the duo’s classic pro models from World Industries and Blind, respectively. Its latest offering is a Muska Shorty’s tribute that nods to his foray into hip hop and fashion. Have a look at images and details about the release below.
UPDATE 03.01.19: Muska just blessed this project with one of his signature moves. His Folklore board is now available for preorder. Check out the trick and details below.

So honored to announce the next drop for @thefolkloreproject 👑, and plenty of you guessed correctly with it being for @themuska ❤️. • “Rising Son” boards coming for an early Spring delivery via @quincywoodwrights. Design by @markpenxa, hand lettering by Chad. • Prebooking opens next week, shops/distributors contact: sales@quincywoodwrights.com. ——- “Chad is a creative visionary on and off his skateboard, and someone I’ve admired for a very long time. Chad’s been a game changer, since day one! Just look at the style and swagger in that old photo from 1989 (swipe to view). ——- The imprint he left on skateboarding and the culture that surrounds it is still reverberating today. And Chad has managed to combine music, art, fashion and skateboarding in a way that very few have been able to transcend. Every kid, at every skate park, wanted to be Chad Muska. The gear, the Boombox, the swagger, the tricks, all of it. ——- There is only a handful of skaters that have been that special, that unique, and that good at inspiring others and delivering a simple/translatable message; Timeless. Style. FOREVER. 🌅 • Love you Chad and honored to do this “Rising Son” board with you! Thank you for loyal friendship, positive energy, creative vision, and your support of the new journey!” 🖤-dune @chrispastras #TheFolkloreProject #ChadMuska #QuincyWoodWrights #USAMade
