Mike Vallely has fronted several companies during the course of his 30-plus year career. His latest is the closest to his heart. Vallely explains the deeper meaning behind Street Plant at the 4:42:00 mark of his unprecedented five-hour interview with The Nine Club

Street Plant rang true. It was the trick that I was first known for; and a trick [that] I still did… And also, Street Plant represents how I view skateboarding. [It’s] something out of nothing. This barren, asphalt, concrete landscape [with] something beautiful coming out of it. And that’s street skating. A flower growing up through the concrete.
