The Supreme San Francisco store has been in the works for what feels like years now. It’s finally opening this fall; and it looks like Reese Forbes will be taking on a similar role to Jeff Pang’s position at the Brooklyn store as the local legendary skater turned store manager. Forbes breaks it down starting at the 1:24:20 mark of the latest episode of The Nine Club.
The last 10 months, I’ve been training to help manage the Supreme store in San Francisco. So I’ve flown around and worked at the stores… They’re opening in the fall in S.F. They’ve been doing a lot to get the store ready. We’ll see what happens… We kind of reached out to each other. It just happened. I’ve kind of been observing. I’ve been a fan for a long time from a distance.
As the San Francisco Chronicle pointed out in an article published back in December, Supreme is slated to open a 10,000 square foot space on Market at Sixth right around the corner from Thrasher’s retail location.
