UPDATE: Li-Ning & Erik Ellington Announce Partnership

Published

on

The first clip of Erik Ellington skating Li-Ning shoes dates back to 2019. So his partnership with the Chinese sportswear giant should come as no surprise. Both parties announced Li-Ning’s foray into skateboarding last night. And it appears that Ellington has a team in the works, which includes Zach Allen. The shoes are looking pretty good in the on-foot photo. This could definitely fill the void left by Supra’s exit.

UPDATE 07.23.21: Li-Ning dropped the full edit of Ellington and crew’s inaugural trip to New York to introduce its skate program. We’ve embedded it up top. This clearly has potential.

These shoes have an STI Performance Level 1 insole, System Flo2 for air circulation, a hidden toe cap for longevity, elastic tongue straps for a secure fit, a rubber outsole for durability and grip, and padded tongue and collar lining for comfort.
