Here’s How You Can Join the 2022 USA Skateboarding National Championships

Here’s your chance to make it to the semis and finals of the 2022 USA Skateboarding National Championships open street and park skateboarding contest.

Film your 50-second continuous run starting today until November 16 and submit your entry to the Video Qualifiers via this link.

Your video submission must be new and made exclusively for this competition.

The top 20 submissions will advance to the semi-finals on December 3. USA Skateboarding will announce the top 20 entries on November 18. The top 10 in the semis will go to the finals on December 4.

The championships will be held at CA|TF, Vista California. It is not open to the public.

Last year’s champions were Jagger Eaton (Men’s Park), Mina Stess (Women’s Park), Dashawn Jordan (Men’s Street), and Mariah Duran(Women’s Street).

Chinese Skateboarder Cui Chenxi bags gold at the 19th Asian Games

In a thrilling display of athleticism and skill, 13-year-old Cui Chenxi from China won the Asian Games Women’s Street Skateboarding Final title.

Zeng Wenhui, also from China, secured the silver medal, while the bronze went to Ito Miyu from Japan.

The event took place on September 27, 2023, at the Qiantang Roller Sports Centre in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, China.

The competition featured some of the world’s best young skateboarders, who showcased their talents with impressive maneuvers and daring tricks.

Japan, China Dominate the Podium in Asian Games Skateboarding Park

Hinano Kusaki earned the gold in the Asian Games Skateboarding Park event held Monday in Hangzhou.

Kusaki’s second run of 87.78 off a 540 was good enough to seal the deal, but she unleashed an 88.87 for good measure. The Japanese teen was the only skater in the field to top 80 in all three runs.

Chinese skaters Li Yujuan and Mao Jiasi grabbed silver and bronze, respectively.

Meanwhile, the youngest skater to make it to the finals also got some spotlight in the event. Nine-year-old Mazel Alegado from the Philippines finished seventh in the finals.

The men’s division was topped by the host country’s Chen Ye, with Nagahara Yuro and Sasaoka Kensuke of Japan taking second and third place.

Julian Agliardi Claims Victory in Simple Session 2023

Julian Agliardi, a 13-year-old skateboarding prodigy, emerged as the winner of Simple Session 2023.

He had secured the highest score in the qualifying round held the previous day and entered the finals with a lot of confidence. Although he didn’t make it to the top three in his initial run, he made a remarkable comeback with his second attempt, earning him a phenomenal 83.08 points.

Held in Tallinn, Estonia from September 20-26, Simple Session is one of the longest-running action events in the world with a 22-year history.

Simple Session originated in the year 2000, when Risto and Mario Kalmre, along with Piret Kull, organized this event series.

Initially, it started as a small-town competition in Estonia, but over the years it has grown into one of the world’s biggest and most prestigious BMX and skateboarding contests.
